Vanessa Salvucci

Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Vanessa Salvucci of Medford, Massachusetts, just north of Boston, made her public debut at the age of 12 when she stepped onto home plate at Fenway Park to sing the *Star Spangled Banner* before Red Sox Nation.

Whether she's amping up sports fanatics prior to a Boston Bruins face off, angelically chanting a divine hymn in the Catholic Church or belting out some Johnny Cash at a dive bar in Nashville, TN, crowds are hyped by Vanessa’s powerful, yet sweet soulful tone.

Graduating from Boston University, Vanessa headed south to the Walt Disney World Resort. There she studied under the well known Music Director, Mark Goff while performing various roles as a Disney Cast Member.

After nearly losing her voice permanently to thyroid cancer, Vanessa relocated to Boston for treatments and surgery. A very grateful Vanessa now offers her resilient voice as a token of inspiration to the American Cancer Society.

Vanessa has been requested as the musical act for a wide variety of weddings, charities, special events and elite political ceremonies throughout New England.

One can find Vanessa satisfying the city of Boston and its surroundings with her “mar(Tini) and a Tune…” as well as boogieing all over the north shore with her Motown/disco vocal quartet, Vinyl Groove.

Her repertoire has been coined as the “sounds of the century” spanning from nostalgic love songs of the 30s & 40s, to classic mob hits, to Motown, 70s, 80s, 90s, up until the music of today with a side of country.

Vanessa has also written and co produced multiple songs of her own.
