Vanessa Tan

Hi! I am Vanessa Tan, a Singaporean Chinese living in Beijing at the moment. I am currently an undergraduate at National University of Singapore (NUS) – majoring in Communications and New Media and minoring in Technopreneurship (Technology and Entrepreneurship). Just in case you start wondering why am I even in Beijing… To qualify for the Technopreneurship minor, I am under this awesome NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) Programme. Apart from experiencing the Chinese way of life, I also take courses at Beijing’s Tsinghua University and am currently doing Business Development for one of Innovation Works’ incubated projects – XingCloud. I am also currently the Vice-President of Young Entrepreneurs Association of NUS (YEAN). I love traveling too, and was the Chairperson of NUS Students’ Union Travel Service (NUSSU Travel). I love exploring new technology (applications and gadgets), food and travel.
