Vanessa Teodoro

My name is Vanessa Teodoro, I was born in South Africa and I'm currently living in Lisbon/ Portugal.
I started out in graphic design and art direction, but soon enough found out that illustration was my calling.

The characters I create are born from my everyday life such as graffiti-street art, tattoos, african patterns and comic books. My paintings have adopted a strong language, funny and always have something to say. I especially like painting strong female icons and witty colorful pieces with a lot of detail e movement.

I've had the opportunity to work with some cool brands such as Canon, Harley Davidson, Mtv, YouTube, Vodafone, Citroen, IKEA, Red Bull, Coach Bags and others.
