Vanessa Thorpe

I appreciate you! Yes, you… I’m talking to you. You didn’t have to stop by and check out my site, but I’m sure glad you did.

Right now, I’m breaking all the rules, which is something I just don’t do, (I grew up in a Baptist Church and my parents raised me better than that…that was for you mom and dad.) Seriously, when writing a bio you are supposed to write in the “third person.” I’ll be honest that never rang true for me, I want you to know about me and those little things you won’t find on my resume, but to compare, you can click here.

Did you know I bowled an almost perfect game? 287 is my high score in league bowling. Those skills, I get from my dad along with the ability to make people laugh and build a house from the foundation up. How many people can say that? He also gave me my love of music, photography and the Miami Dolphins. Yes, the Dolphins, since I was born I’ve never strayed from the Teal and Orange. Go FINS!!!!

See, isn’t this more interesting than my resume? Not sure? Click here.

Bet you’re wondering what I got from my mom? The importance of education and to never stop learning. To be of “good service.” To follow your own path and keep the faith. But most importantly, everyone say’s I got her heart. Wow, there’s nothing better than that. Well, maybe her Sweet Potato Pie, Candied Yams, Bread Pudding…oh yay, thanks for the sweet tooth mom.

Now maybe you could have gleamed all these things from my resume…feel free to double check.

It’s funny when you think about it, I get cast as the “warm-hearted, woman of service with a comedic flair,” Hmmmmm, I really am my parent’s kid!!!
