Vania Mesrob

Colombiers, France

(Q) Where am I from?
(A) I am a Bulgarian, but I have been living in France for 12 years now. I also spent a year in Germany and a year and a half in the United States. I like to think about myself as a citizen of the world.

(Q) Who am I?
(A) People say about me that I am a smiling and full of energy person, and that I talk a lot…

(Q) What do I work as?
(A) I work in the photovoltaic and my job is to start-up the plants, (if possible) without any explosion or fire. It might sound fun but in fact it takes me and my team long weeks of preparation, planning and testing to reach this moment. For the last six years, I have been solving lots of technical and organizational issues; finding creative solutions and taking decisions quickly is a big part of the job description. Today the photovoltaic has no more secrets for me and I am looking forward to new challenges.

(Q) What do I like to do in my free time?
(A) I love to travel, discover new places and countries. My dream – to spend 80 days around the world.
I like also extreme sports like rafting and speleology. When I was a child, my parents made me discover as well the adrenaline of descending in a cave as the quietness of a beautiful night under the stars. And until today for me the best vacation is wild camping in an exotic place.
And I like reading, especially crime books and I enjoy the suspense. I never read the end of a book before arriving there; I take pleasure in guessing who the killer is and trying to reason as Monsieur Poirot; I am very proud when I am right.
