Ankie van Montfoort

My name is Ankie van Montfoort. I'm currently both living and studying in Antwerp, Belgium. I'm majoring in Cross Media Management at Karel de Grote Hogeschool.

My hobbies include design, travelling, photography, etc. Next to these hobbies I also love animals, the outdoors, camping etc.

Thanks to my education there were a lot of big projects our class could work on, for example helping a non-profit with their Google Ads, Setting up the social media promotion for Junction’s project “Mobility of the Future”. As a future Digital Marketeer, I'm specialized in almost every Adobe program, such as Photoshop, InDesign, etc. As well as Office 365, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. In addition, I also know my way around Google, Google Ads and Analytics.

I see myself as a very independent and strong person. I love to take a leading role and I'm not afraid to think outside the box. Using my creativity daily, is one of my top priorities. I also don't fear to be put outside of my comfort zone.

As a Dutch student, my mother tongue is of course Dutch. But I'm also fluent in English and reasonably good at French. I love to learn new languages like Spanish, German, Korean, etc.

My past job experiences are mostly as a saleswoman in stores. However, these last years I combined this with my love for tourism, and started working in a tourism office. In my school life I'm active as well. For 2 years straight I have been a part of the education council.
