Vasant Ramachandran is the Chief Technology Officer at Daric, a peer-to-peer lending platform that connects borrowers and lenders in finance, real estate, and insurance. In this role, Vasant applies his interest in dynamic enterprise software and entrepreneurial insights to solving customers’ problems through technology.

Vasant Ramachandran and the Daric team are at the forefront of a new lending industry that is reliant upon technology, not individual loan officers, for the fast and accurate assessment(s) of borrowers and lenders across competitive industry verticals. Daric has received critical acclaim for its financial innovation and recently gained a partnership with Mortech®, a Zillow Group business providing mortgage technology solutions for mortgage bankers and secondary market teams.

Vasant Ramachandran earned his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He formerly penned articles for the Stanford Review, volunteered with SAPHOP, Stanford’s student organization to raise awareness of health risks in the South Asian community, and performed as a member of Raagapella, Stanford’s South Asian fusion a capella group. Today, he supports East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring, Code for Progress, and Operation Code.
