Brands collapsing because of unhappy costumers' tweets, political candidates investing millions to Facebook campaigns, kids becoming world sensations via a webcam set in their room and early university graduates landing the job of their life because of smart Google AdWords keywords.
This is the media landscape of our era. A place where economics, psychology, legislations, creativity and unstoppable thirst of knowledge come together.
I was extremely lucky to combine the theoritical background of media with the practical business of television from the age of 19 and then advance my knowledge with one of the very few media management master degrees in the world. Right now, I am the Marketing & PR Manager of Upstream, the world leader in mobile marketing. I am working closely with internal stakeholders and marketing agencies, to the planning and execution of marketing & communication campaigns across EMEA and all emerging markets. I am leading UK and U.S. PR and marketing campaigns overviewing all stages of implementation from concept generation to media planning and reporting. I have been nominated Nominated for a PRCA Award for “Changing Digital Advertising Attitudes” campaign.
I am also acting as Marketing Project Leader in all major pitches for top clients. Pitches won included:
- The largest mobile marketing campaign ever run in Middle East.
- The largest mobile network operator in Vietnam
- Mobile network operators in LATAM and especially in Brazil, Argentina and Colombia.
Last but not least, I am deeply interested in the convergence of neuroscience and marketing. You can read some of my thoughts at my Tumblr blog.
