Research interests lie broadly within the closely overlapped areas of wireless networking, mobile computing and architectural aspects of the Future Internet.
Current areas of interest include, inter alia, network virtualization for emerging (LTE-Advanced) and future cellular networks (aka 5G) and application of delay tolerant networking techniques in wireless networks including device to device communications. In addition, a key emerging area relates to advanced mobility aware caching techniques providing bounds on the performance of emerging and future wired-cum wireless networks.
Undoubtedly, there are key challenges ahead for connecting efficiently literally anything with a "digital heartbeat" on the Internet, creating in that sense the next big data tsunami. This is a prime time to effectively shape future architectural directions in networking. To this end, always looking for enthusiastic people who are passionate about embarking on a long term research PhD project and journey in academia. Please feel free to contact me!
