Vasilis Kazis

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Vasilis has a background in information and telecommunication studies.

He is a young musician and composer with a focus on folk music and Greek tradition.

He studies modern guitar and music theory for the last ten years. Since 2013, he's doing vocal training lessons with a focus on modern music. He has attended theater, devised theater seminars and seminars on the "Orff Aproach" in music education.

Vasilis has a diverse working experience. Since 2011, he is an animator in children's parties. In his animation he follows the "Orff Approach" . In 2014, he composed the music for the children's theatrical performance "Goodnight day"(for children 1 to 4 years old). In 2015, he composed and played live the music of a theatrical performance based on Oscar Wilde's fairytale "The Nightingale and the Rose".The same year, he was a performer in Ioli Andreadis' devised theater performance during a series of seminars in theVisitors Center at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). He often gives live music performances at music bars in Athens.
