Hello! I’m a robotics / mechanical engineering PhD candidate in the GRAB Lab at Yale University, and graduated with bachelors (w/ Dept Citation!) and masters from University of California, Berkeley. In summer 2023, I was a research intern at the Boston Dynamics AI Institute.

In my lab, I make robot hands that can manipulate everyday objects in complex tasks, and love working on mechanical design, mechanisms, motion planning, and optimization!

In addition, I have also worked at Intuitive Surgical, taught as an (outstanding!) graduate student instructor, provided technical and business insight to Yale Ventures, and led many engineering student organizations.

Here's a cool video of a robot hand I recently designed that can rotate objects about a fixed point (and was also featured on IEEE Spectrum!). Here's another one I worked on that can do highly dexterous motions in all directions.

You can read my CV to learn more about my projects and experiences. If any of this work interests you, please reach out on LinkedIn or email [email protected]!
