Valentina Stagnaro
translator, subtitler, and ghost writer in Roma, Italia
Being a (young) freelance translator (and a woman) might look like an act of useless masochism. Well, it's not. I'm definitely in love with life and with my job; with my deadlines (hey, never missed one!) and with my lazy students.
I love reading, studying and I'm as curious as a cat.
In my free time I'm a quaint intelectual: I'm interested in philology, modern and medieval history, and history of art. I hate happy endings, I'm more for splatter and pulp movies. I'm interested in Medicine and Forensics too, but my favourite book is Wuthering Heights.
As a ghostwriter (say mercenary), I've written articles and dissertations on disparate fields of knowledge, most of them still unknown to human beings.
