Baseball has helped me learn that not only being good at the game is important, but being a good teammate is needed to become an exceptional player and have overall success as a team. I have also learned that academics play a huge part in my future as a baseball player and as a person. I want to strive to be a great baseball player, but also as an excellent student. I have had to overcome many obstacles in my baseball career such as not always being as big or strong as others, and playing at levels above my age and with people who have very different backgrounds and beliefs. Through these experiences, I’ve gained a strong work ethic and an urge to improve my skill on the field and in the classroom. I am a hard worker and a team player and when I am put in a situation I will help the team to the best of my ability.

One of my academic goals for high school is to get an A in every class throughout my four years. Although I haven't decided on my major, I would like to pursue Sports Medicine. Being homeschooled up until 7th-grade was an influence in my life that taught me independent study, work ethic, and memorization skills. My parents have had a huge impact on my athletic and academic careers. They always taught me I could do anything if i put my mind to it and not to settle for only what's acceptable. My family is very important to me and they support me in all that I do.

Outside of baseball, I enjoy fishing and going to the beach and I love to mix and record music and I play the acoustic and electric guitar.
