VECCY Hiring Initiative

The men and women in our U.S. Military deserve to be treated in a manner comparable to the sacrifice that they make protecting the freedoms that Americans hold so dear and, in many instances, take for granted each day. History offers example after example of men and women who've gladly given their lives to taste the dignity that only warriors crave when defending their people, their homes and their way of life. History further affirms that when those warriors returned home from battle, their countries appreciated and thanked them by treating them like the heroes that they had proven themselves to be.

Somehow, somewhere along the way, America has forgotten its heroes and the sacrifices they've made on her behalf. Pacesetter, FedEx, CEDA and The Veccy Hiring Initiative have not forgotten. The VECCY Hiring Initiative partnership does not propose to be "the" only answer but it does offer "one" answer that we pray will fulfill a need and free others to believe that they too can play a role in the solution. The U.S. was founded on the principals and belief that we had within us, as a nation, the strength, intelligence and talent to defy the odds and take on a much bigger, stronger and well capitalized foe. That the answers lay deep inside the resources that we possessed within us and not waiting to be discovered or handed to us from somewhere else. Today, we face a similar set of challenges, the solutions to which we have already within us. America is a great nation but we've got to find a way to remember that our greatness began within the minds and hearts of the people of our nation. Our greatness originated within us and will end within us...we do have the ability to choose what the future will hold for us.

The VECCY Hiring Initiative is an initiative that seeks to challenge the "status quo" by focusing on empowering Veterans as they pursue their piece of the American Dream and realize the greatness, the dignity that exists within each of them.
