Veena Gupta is a social activist/entrepreneur working for the benefit and well being of women, children, handicapped and underprivileged sections of the society since more than the past 30 years.

She is the President of the Bihar Council of Women, which is the largest and the oldest women's organization in Bihar. She has also served as the President of the Ladies Wing of Punjabi Biradari, Patna and as the President of Lions Club of Patna Central.

She has been honoured with many awards by Lions Club International which include Lion of the Year, Best Zonal Chairperson and Best Region Chairperson. She is an all-rounder and has also won several coveted titles such as Cookery Queen and Super Mom, to say the least.
