Veera joined Templewood from Procserve, a specialist, Government certified eCommerce solutions provider where she was CEO for five years. Veera founded Procserve to address the challenge of procurement reform in the public sector, which is now successfully expanding into the private sector.
Prior to Procserve, Veera had a successful career as a management consultant. As a Senior Partner in PA Consulting she provided advisory services at board level to a wide range of organisations in the public and private sectors. She is a specialist in IT led business change, infrastructure implementation and systems security. Veera has also been involved in a number of regional and local economic development programmes in the UK and internationally including the development of strategies for major land reclamation schemes.
Over the last 10 years Veera has provided leadership development and mentoring to a wide range of organisations and individuals including most recently, providing senior management team coaching to both the BBC and Channel 4. Veera is the Vice Chair of the London Branch of the Institute of Economic Development.
In May 2009 Veera was named Business Woman of the Year at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards.
