VEKAAFFII is a Punjabi poet, rapper, and writer whose art exists at the intersection of poetry, spirituality, philosophy, and raw human emotion.

For VEKAAFFII, poetry came first. Poetry is not simply a form of writing—it is his first love. Whenever emotions become too deep for conversation, they become verses. Most of his poetry is written in Punjabi, drawing from the language's rich tradition of love, loss, longing, and spiritual seeking. Rap, on the other hand, serves a different purpose. It is the vehicle through which he expresses aggression, disappointment, frustration, social observations, and the contradictions of modern life.

Born and raised in Jalandhar, Punjab, VEKAAFFII grew up surrounded by the literary and spiritual legacy of Punjab. The influence of great voices such as Waris Shah, Bulleh Shah, Shiv Kumar Batalvi, Narinder Singh Kapoor, Satinder Sartaaj, and Tajammul Kaleem helped shape his understanding of language and expression. Beyond them, he draws inspiration from countless known and unknown poets, writers, teachers, singers, and thinkers whose words left permanent marks on his journey.

A profound influence on his worldview is the philosophy of OSHO, whose teachings encouraged him to question inherited beliefs, explore inner freedom, and embrace contradiction without fear. Alongside this, Sufi thought, Gurbani, Rumi, Kabir, and Baba Farid continue to inform the spiritual foundation beneath his work.

His artistic journey began under the name Venom753, where he spent years blending classical Urdu poetry with street rap, writing about heartbreak, identity, spirituality, social realities, and personal transformation. When a hacked channel erased years of creative work and digital history, he chose not to quit. Instead, he rebuilt himself under a new identity: VEKAAFFII.

The name represents resilience, rebirth, and a simple belief: "V is enough."

Today, VEKAAFFII continues to create conscious Punjabi hip-hop, poetry, and literature that challenge, heal, and provoke thought. His music is not driven by trends or applause but by a lifelong search for truth, self-understanding, and liberation. Every poem, every verse, and every song is another step toward that destination.
