Fernando Velázquez
Fernando Velázquez é artista multimídia. Suas obras incluem vídeos, instalações, interativos, objetos e performances audiovisuais. Doutorando em Comunicação e semiótica pela PUC-SP, participa de exposições no Brasil e no exterior com destaque para a Bienal do Mercosul (Brasil, 2009), Mapping Festival (Suiça, 2011), WRO Biennale (Polônia 2011) e o Pocket Film Festival no Centro Pompidou (Paris, 2007). Obteve dentre outros o Premio Sergio Motta de Arte e Tecnologia (Brasil, 2009), Mídias Locativas Arte.Mov (Brasil, 2008) e o Vida Artificial (Espanha, 2008). Ministra cursos e workshops em instituições públicas, privadas, terceiro setor e independentes. Atualmente é professor de pós-graduação na FAAP - SP (Brasil). Vive e trabalha em São Paulo. His work was honored with several distinctions as the Sergio Motta Prize for Art and Technology (Brazil, 2009), Locative Media Arte.mov (Brazil, 2008) and Artificial Life (Spain, 2008) among others. He use to give courses and workshops in public and private institutions and non-profits or independent organizations. Nowadays he teach in a post graduation course at FAAP University, São Paulo, Brazil. Lives and work in Sao Paulo.
