It's been an interesting journey thus far. I began, like many of my generation, by learning on the family's home computer circa 1980. It became a passion and obsession to learn all I could. That thirst for knowledge drove me to the information technology profession. There is no end to learning when you're in IT and software development. The rate at which technologies and ideas move can be both exciting and frustrating.

I build things, and that's what I've wanted to do for as long as I can remember. From those first keystrokes on an underpowered, ill-equipped Atari 400, to the quantum leap of today's computing devices, I have and continue to be excited about the possibilities.

When not at work, I enjoy console gaming, preparing authentic barbeque, and spending time with my family.
