Jana Veliskova

In Prague, Czech-landia, born and raised, in a commie land I spent most of my days. Chillin' out nice and relaxin' all cool and eatin' some dumplings outside my school.

My pop's one of the guys, who did real good, got a grant from AES to leave this hood. In '91 we packed our bags and I was a little scared. I said "good-bye" to Czech-landia and flew in the air.

How we got to the US is no mystery: working hard, playing hard: the rest is history. "Do you ever go back?" I get asked all the time. "Sure, why not? My dear Czech-landia's fine."

After a few years in the Boogie-down, moved up to Cornell upstate. Majored in history, danced, and great food I ate. Designed some dresses and websites after school: check out my site, I bet you'll think it's cool.
