Phillip LaVell Harris (a.k.a “Velly Vel – “Big Belly-n-All) Originally a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, my family would eventually relocate to Bristow. It was there, in this small town of approx. 6500 (pop.), that the aspiring entertainer would spend his formal years inspired by the likes of Richard Pryor, Bernie Mac and Cedric the Entertainer.

My Career as a comedian started in 2012 Hosting & performing at numerous comedy events in the states. I've had the privilage of sharing the stage with A-list comedians such as: Katt Williams, Mike Epps, Craig Gass, Bruce Bruce, & Tyler Craig just to name a few. I love performing at military bases around the nation to show my support for all our American Troops that serve our Country.

In 2015 I formed a Non-Profit organization, Save Our Youth Foundation (SOY) to support and improve the quality of life for the Youth of tomorrow. Also, I'm little league football coach in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

I've served with numerous organizations aim to reduce gang violence, drug abuse and teen pregnancy. Currently, I'm the Director of Fundraising for the United Black Family Scholarship Foundation a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the social and economic life of urban communities.
