Christine Velotta
Student, Photographer, and Filmmaker in Florida
From a young Christine Velotta has always had a passion for the arts. Starting dance classes at age 7, she spent ten years in performing arts learning all aspects of production. Wanting to fulfill her passion for film she attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale earning an Associate's of Science degree in Video Production. During her time at the Art Institute she worked on school productions, became president of the Art Institute's film club 17 Street Studios and earned an internships with Doc Reno of Big 105.9 Miami's classic rock radio station and Susan Cingari owner of Must Love MMA.
In 2016 she decided to finish her education at Full Sail University. For ten years she dreamed of attending Full Sail and it has finally become a reality. Pursuing a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Entertainment Business, Christine hopes to learn more about the business side of production to fulfill her dreams of becoming a producer and director.
Christine has won the award for best portfolio book from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
In her spare time she has taken up photography as well as helping with event planning for small events such as PBC Curlfriends. She is also passionate about dogs and adopted a dog from the Pug Rescue of Florida earlier this year. When she has free time she enjoys watching movies with her dog and playing Tomb Raider.
