Ramesh Vemuri, MD - CEO of Mathers Clinic LLC

An accomplished psychiatrist, Ramesh Vemuri, MD, holds a bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery (MB BS), from Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, India, and did his psychiatric training from the Chicago Medical School (CMS) in Illinois. After earning his MD in 1978, finishing 3 year psychiatric training he remained at CMS as a research psychiatrist, working on the genetic transmission of bipolar disorders. Dr. Ramesh Vemuri went on to treat patients and direct medical staff at a range of medical clinics and counseling centers.

Since 2004, Ramesh Vemuri, MD, has served as chief executive officer of Mathers Clinic, LLC, a counseling services provider with headquarters in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Since joining the organization, he has spearheaded its growth from a single small clinic in Rockford, Illinois, to a four-location network that acquires 250 new clients each month. A full-service clinic, Mathers employs three psychiatrists, two psychiatric nurse practitioners, and 20 clinical social workers with experience in various aspects of mental health.
