I am a Digital Transformation Programme Manager at NHS England South West region, and a Chartered Special Collections Librarian. I am also working on my PhD Librarianship with Aberystwyth University (part time), enjoying the variety and challenges of data collection. I am formerly the Project Cataloguer (2015/16) of the Recusant Collection at Downside Abbey Library & Archives, near Bath.

My role as a Programme Manager affords me opportunities to grow my leadership and relationship management skills, working with a variety of external providers, as well as colleagues within ICBs and Trusts. I enjoy meeting and working with new people, sharing knowledge to enhance my work life experience. What I enjoy about this role is that the theory behind it provides an organised framework within which to work in an agile way, and I am currently stretching myself to be able to become comfortable working in this way.

At the moment I am leading on two projects that together are making improvements for both the citizen and the primary care workforce. It really pleases me that I am able to work on both sides of this coin. The projects listen to the patient voice and the workforce needs via reference groups, and it is a both imperative and a pleasure to work with these individuals.

I am also developing my line management skills, working compassionately and with kindness.

The Digital Experience Programme aims to transform the human experience of primary care processes for the better, using digital technology and data.
