Greetings Everyone! I get the distinct pleasure and privilege to be a guest blogger on my best-friend's site. Since all of you follow Ang's blog you know how fabulous she is; I will try to write something that hopefully entertains. Plus a huge Thank You to my BFF who is letting me share on her blog. She rocks!

For those who don't know me or only know me as Angela's BFF, let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Venture. I’m a single mother of one daughter and three teenage boys. I also have a granddaughter, named Caramia, who is almost 2 and is the love of my life. I work in a hospital as a pediatric Respiratory Therapist. My three greatest loves besides my family is of course reading, traveling, and going to church. I couldn't read until the end of the second grade so once I started I never stopped. I read anything and everything however I will always hold a special place in my heart for Harlequin romances. My mom got 6 in the mail when I was a kid. On a weekend that my father was out of town we would lie on the couch and read book after book. Then when we were done we would say how productive we were; we had been to Alaska, Australia, or Europe depending on the books. That is when I discovered not only my love of reading but my love of travel. The cheapest way to travel is a book.
