Currently working at Datavant, an SF based healthcare startup. We believe in connecting data to eliminate the silos of healthcare information that hold back innovative medical research and improved patient care. We help data owners manage the privacy, security, compliance, and trust required to enable safe data sharing.

Prior to Datavant, I was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, working with Pharmaceutical, Medical Product, and Private Equity clients on growth strategy, licensing/acquisition due diligence, and merger management.
I received my Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and my undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Harvard College. As a cancer researcher, my interests included cancer cell survival, especially under nutrient and oxygen deprivation. I focused on glioblastoma and soft tissue sarcoma, two deadly and rare tumors. Some of my other scientific interests include synthetic biology, cancer metabolism, RNAi therapeutics, immune-oncology, organogenesis, and tissue regeneration.
My dissertation work was performed in the Simon laboratory at the Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute (AFCRI) at Penn. My undergraduate thesis was completed in Dr. Pamela Silver's lab at the Harvard Medical School.
