In my master’s studies at the University of Siena in Italy, I did my thesis by using chemometric approaches to optimize the surface and constituent properties of catalysts with respect to residual fluid catalytic cracking. This study has led me to further develop my analytical and process related understanding of catalytic cracking in refinery processes and further building on my undergraduate experience in applied chemistry, and past working experience in two chemical companies in Iran which they collaboration with other international companies.
