Verity Griscti

Verity Griscti studied Drawing and Printmaking at OCAD University. After graduation she became interested in web technologies. While initially seen as an inexpensive means to display and promote her artwork web themes relating to connectivity, pattern recognition, time/space and social networks have since made there way into her art practice. She turned her technical skills and understanding of the arts sector into a freelance design career, mainly working with an arts industry clientele. Verity has designed and constructed websites, facebook pages, blogs and email newsletters for photographers, interior designers, architectural researchers and media artists. She has worked in various roles for the popular arts promotion site Akimbo.ca since 2007.

Verity also maintains an art practice and been part of numerous group exhibitions including The Toronto Outdoor Art Show, and Eye Scream II & III, the visual arts component of the Scream Literary Festival. She has work in both public and private collections. She lives with her husband, daughter and several dead houseplants in Toronto, Canada
