Vern Southard

Originally from the Western prairies of Canada, I lived in Southern Califonia for many years, and traveled, lived and worked in England, Canada, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Scotland, France, and the high Canadian Arctic. Currently living in SW Florida, enjoy the Gulf Beaches, wildlife and bird photography, kayaking. Enjoy motorsports and construction/remodeling, landscaping, historical places and events, reading, movies, travel, and taking care of our feral cat colony. I worked for a San Diego based international publishing company as a commercial advertising photographer, but now prefer landscape, scenic, and wildlife photography, because Florida has an abundance of flora, fauna, waterways, coastline, beaches, and many wonderful birds to photograph. I strongly support environmental causes and conservation and taking care of the Earth. Currently exploring the creative avenues of writing and videography.
