Verónica is a mobile and back-end developer and former physicist.
She started programming scientific computing simulations in Python and Fortran, and slowly transitioned into mobile development, eventually becoming an Android expert.
She is currently based in Mexico City, where she runs the local Go Meetup, and used to lead the mobile team at Mexico's Tax Administration Service (SAT).
Currently, Verónica builds distributed systems with Go and Linux for an international company, and finds joy learning Elixir and going back to her scientific roots with Machine Learning in her spare time.
She has spoken at several Go conferences around the world, like Gophercon India and Gotham Go.
Verónica is a polyglot who loves travelling, tea, korean beauty products, heavy metal, and animals.
