The ambitious Veronica Ann Fulton is a Southern Belle born on October 4th, 1993 in Decatur, Georgia to Ann McCullough and Kim Fulton. Veronica is the youngest of four children and has always used writing as form of expression. At a young age Veronica became heavily involved with mentoring and tutoring. Currently as a student at Spelman College, Veronica is still doing what she loves by serving as a tutor in the Math Department as well as the LearningResources Center on campus. In addition to this Veronica believes in achievement in every field of human endeavor. Her desire to constantly do better and seek innovation led to her decision to become a Mathematics major. Her willingness to pave the way and make the road easier for others also led her to add Economics as a second major. Both Mathematics and Economics are underrepresented fields for African-American women in which Veronica intends to make positive strides and help to diversify these fields. She aspires to continue school upon graduation to obtain her JD/PhD which is a joint program in which she will obtain her law degree in hopes of becoming a corporate attorney and will obtain her PhD in Mathematics.

While she is heavily invested in her future, Veronica is very involved within her campus community. She currently serves as SGA Secretary of Enrollment Management for the 2014-2015 academic school-year. Throughout her Spelman College Career Veronica has been a part of TeenAngels, HOWW, BluePrint, Impressions of Beauty, Coca-Cola Mentoring Program and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. In addition to her involvement on campus Veronica has also been the privileged recipient of many awards such as Dean’s List, Honor Roll, The Etta Z. Falconer Award and Scholarship and she is now a Vicki Palmer Scholar through her internship program at Coca-Cola. However, Veronica has also allowed her passion for giving to back to shine as well. She has worked with SGA and other organizations such as RockTheVote, PrettyVotes, Young Republicans of America, and Young Democrats of America in order to promote voter registration and voter participation among African Americans. Veronica is also a volunteer for MedShare and has volunteered the American Red Cross, Redan Recreation Center and raised money for numerous non-profits.

While at Spelman, Veronica studied abroad at the University of Legon in Ghana. Here, she was fortunate enough to tutor small children in less developed areas. As a result of this ex
