Veronica Morris
Welcome to my site! My name is Veronica Morris and I am a current senior at Frostburg State University majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. A few of my short term goals are to teach at an Elementary School after graduation while attending Graduate School. One of my long term goals is to teach high school aged students how to teach preschool aged students at a technical high school.
I want to be a teacher because I believe that children have so much untapped potential. The students we are teaching now are the future of the United States. They are smart, and capable. Sometimes, all these students need is someone to unlock that potential and believe in them. I love children and the opportunity of having such a mentoring role excites me!
So far I have had the opportunity to have field experiences in Head Start, 4th Grade, and 1st Grade. Prior to these experiences, I was a Pre-School Teaching Assistant for a couple of years. I still have so many experiences ahead of me and I am looking forward to each one!
For fun I enjoy cooking, crafting, and spending time with my family, friends, and sorority/fraternity sisters and brothers! Being a part of the Frostburg Culture has given me the time of my life and I cannot wait to add on to each experience!
