Virl Hill

Virl Hill is CEO, President and a Board member of Blade Games World, an early-stage digital games company. Previously, he served 13 years at Real Networks in leadership roles including GM Distribution/Ad Sales; GM Business/Corporate Development, Rhapsody; and GM RollingStone.com. He negotiated many pioneering digital media licenses and distribution agreements and launched a/v search on the RealPlayer. Prior to Real, Mr. Hill headed strategic planning for Disney Network TV/TV Animation and worked in international video/licensing at Hanna-Barbera. Mr. Hill is a Kellogg MBA, a member of The Recording Academy (GRAMMY), Television Academy (EMMY) and CTAM and has spoken at CES and Digital Hollywood. Prior board memberships include CTAM Pacific NW, Youth Theatre NW and Mercer Island Youth Soccer Club.
