Dan McGuan

Dan McGuan was one of the first 20 MRI service professionals hired in the United States by Hitachi® Medical Systems America. Dan played a significant leadership role in the establishment and growth of the open MRI market in the United States, and has over 29 years of experience as a field service engineer. While working with Hitachi®, Dan grew the open MRI installation base from nine units in the western states to over 140 in California alone. He also developed and implemented a Corrective and Preventative Action Plan (CAPA) that reduced equipment problems and customer complaints while producing a 300% increase in field service productivity.

From this foundation, Dan founded Viable Med Services, with the mission of providing the very best in personalized service to our medical imaging clients.
