I have been working for Biogen since Sept 2017. I´m very proud to work here because our focus on neuroscience, our deep scientific expertise, and our courage to take risks make us leaders in the research and development of medicines to transform neuroscience to benefit society.

During this time, I have had the honor of leading the MS, SMA and AD business units in Spain. Currently I´m working as a Global Product Development and Commercialization Lead for the Multiple Sclerosis orals unit.

Previously I was working in Abbvie for 5 years as a Brand Team Leader for the Rheumatology business unit in Spain. At that moment the Rheumatology business unit, represented the biggest business unit of the company in Spain and the rest of the world, and Humira achieved the milestone of became the best product ever in Spanish Pharmaceutical market impacting more than 30.000 patients suffering from devastating autoimmune diseases

For the last fifteen years I´ve worked for the four big pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies: Eli Lilly, Sandoz, Abbvie and Biogen, in different roles with increasing responsibilities. Especially at Eli Lilly I led teams in Psychiatry, Neurology and Pain and learned a lot about the most frequent chronic conditions.
Before joining the pharmaceutical space, I spent several summers working as a sports teacher in an English summer camp for children. This experience gave me the opportunity to pay for my chemistry studies at University and to learn a lot .
In 2007, while I was working for Eli Lilly, I had the opportunity to join the IE business School to study an executive MBA which I finished in 2008.

After spending fifteen years in the pharmaceutical industry, traveling around the world, and being involved in many global and local projects, I´ve learnt a lot about different pharmaceutical approaches. These range from innovation and last generation biopharmaceutical product to affordable products like generics or biosimilars, focused on the health care sustainability.
I´ve had the opportunity to work in different therapeutic areas so I´ve learnt a lot about the patient centric approach and the patient´s needs in many different diseases love and enjoy my job a lot. How we work to improve the patient´s quality of care and the impact of our job on people’s lives is very rewarding.

However, the most exciting aspect of my job is that I still have a lot to learn about patient´s needs and how we can help them in the future.
