Vic Gregovits
The Cleveland Indians had a record sell-out from 1995 - 2001. As the Director of Ticket Sales, Vic was one of its architects. He left in 1996. He was brought back in 2004 when the team's performance and revenue were slumping. Since he rejoined the team, he's thoughtfully led all team revenue generating areas including tickets sales, premium seating, sponsorships, and was an active participant in the team's $58 million naming rights deal. In 2008 he implemented variable ticket pricing which led into dynamic ticket pricing in 2012. Each program was created to ensure season ticket pricing integrity for the long-term.
Accomplishments:
- Helped increase the team's equity value from $292M (2004) to $559M (2012) according to Forbes Magazine
- Key member to negotiate a $58 million, 16-year, re-naming stadium rights deal
- Developed the team’s first “value based ticket pricing program” in 2008 that all games are not created of equal value and implemented full dynamic ticket pricing in 2012. The result creates pricing integrity to season ticket holders and single game buyers.
