Retired R.N. living upstate NY on a small 9 acre farm I am 56 years old and living out my lifes dream upstate ny on 9 acres of land that we now call the Cluckin' "A" Critter Farm LLC. I was born in Brooklyn NY and went to school there. I was out of school more than I was in it. I hated school it was boring and seemed like a waste of time. I had more important things to do with my life. I was married there and decided that going to school was not that bad and decided to enter college at night while I worked during the day. Was undecided as to what I wanted to be when I grew up so I went to a community college and took liberal arts credits and graduated with a degree in liberal arts. Went on to Queens college to become a psycologist. When I graduated and started graduate school for my masters I decided to switch to teaching. Went on for a few semesters and decided that wasn't for me either and signed up for the college of staten Island for Nursing. Graduated and became a registered nurse and worked in the field for many years. I loved it. Unfortunately my husband developed pancreatic cancer and I cared for him for five very long years and he died in May of 2006. I met a man that I purchased a puppy from in Pennslyvania and we became friends. We emailed each other while I was taking care of my husband. He was the only person I had to talk to late at night while I was up caring for Carl. When Carl died my friend Skip came to help me for a few days and we became close friends. That friendship turned out to be the greatest love story ever. We got married and are living happily ever after on our farm.
