Vicki Carr

Born in Abilene, educated at Hardin-Simmons University, moved to NYC to broaden my West Texas horizons. Developed a career in entertainment production/management and publicity that lasted 19 years and allowed me to live in both NYC and LA. Began entirely new 19-year career in public school music when we moved to Texarkana for my husband's work. Now retired from school and almost 19 years as pianist for First Baptist, I now maintain a private piano studio. I serve as president of Wednesday Music Club, a national affiliate, with which I also hold state and national chairs, and as chaplain of the Lone Star Chapter of D.A.R.

I have one son and daughter-in-law, and two step-daughters, and three grandgirls: Lucy, Peyton and Kasie. Mike and I keep Lucy on weekdays, and get to be part of her every milestone. Can't ask for better than that. And Mike is the most wonderful husband in the world. I am truly blessed!
