Vickie Barksdale

My name is Vickie Barksdale and I live in Senatobia, MS, a small town just south of Memphis. I work in the Adult Basic Education department at Northwest MS Community College as a lead instructor.
I earned my Associate Degree at NWCC and my Bachelor of Science degree from Christian Brothers University. I earned both of my degrees while working full-time, taking care of my family, and serving as a leader at my church.
My passion is teaching. I want to earn a Master of Arts degree in Teaching so I can not only continue teaching, but have the opportunity to join the administrative team at NWCC. I believe my classroom experience, along with my education will benefit both the college and the students.
