Vicki Kasomenakis

An accountant, financial planner, and professor with nearly two decades of experience in her field, Vicki Kasomenakis currently works at Scifo Legacy Planning, LLC in Garden City, New York. Commanding an impressive academic and professional background, Vicki Kasomenakis laid the academic foundations for her career as an undergraduate at Queens College (City University of New York) and, later, as an graduate student at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Between 1987 and 1992, Vicki Kasomenakis pursued studies in various aspects of accounting, finance, and business administration at Queens College and Long Island University, setting the stage for a highly diversified career. Following receipt of her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting, Vicki Kasomenakis earned additional designations, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). In 1995, Vicki Kasomenakis secured a position as a Financial Planner with Scifo Legacy Planning, LLC, where she continues to provide financial advisory and management services to clients in and around the greater New York metropolitan region. Concurrent with her role at Scifo Legacy Planning, LLC, Vicki Kasomenakis spent 6 years as an Assistant Professor in the City University of New York (CUNY) system, teaching courses in accounting, serving as an academic advisor, coordinating the student-run Business Society, and performing as Chair of the Ceremonial Occasions Committee, among other responsibilities. Over the course of her tenure with CUNY, Vicki Kasomenakis taught at Queensborough Community College in Bayside and wrote numerous articles on personal finance, taxes, and other topics for trade and mainstream publications alike, including The CPA Journal, Aspire NY, and The Queens Courier. A longtime member of several professional organizations, Vicki Kasomenakis holds affiliation in The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Long Island, and the C.W.
