Vicky Sedgwick

Vicky is a K-8 Technology Teacher and Tech Trainer at St. Martin's Episcopal School in the San Fernando Valley. While Vicky always wanted to be a teacher and did major in education in college, she started out her professional life, not in education, but as a Systems Analyst and Programmer, designing and writing Accounting, Property Management, and Construction Software and training others how to sell and install the software.
Vicky is currently serving as a CUE Independent School Network Chair, helpts to run the #csk8 Twitter chat on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month, and is on the CSTA Board of Directors. She presents at conferences on various topics related to technology and education. Vicky loves to learn and some of her favorite avenues for learning are Edcamps and CUE Rock Star Teacher Camps. Vicky is proud to have been one of the organizers of Edcamp OC (the very first Edcamp in CA 2011), EdcampSFBay (2011, 2012, & 2013), EdcampOCLA (2012), and EdcampLA (2013 & 2014).
In addition to teaching, Vicky also enjoys photography and attending concerts. Beyond this, Vicky is also a part-time webmaster, a wife and most importantly, a mother to two amazing young women.
