Having just turned 33 years old I don't feel anywhere near settling down and buying a house, keeping a steady job or having kids....so I packed all that away and decided to travel the world instead!

English born and bred I've always craved the open road, new and exciting places, a beautiful life experiencing beautiful things. With one shot of life I'm certainly not going to waste it in one place, the earth is so breathtaking I want to breathe it all in before I die.

I currently live in New Zealand on the North Island in a little place called Hahei, right on the beach.

So a few things about me:

- I'm actually an archaeologist (well I have a degree and I've done a few digs)

- I bought a campervan off ebay and lived in Northumberland for 6 months (loved every moment...apart from having to use a bin bag for a toilet)

- I'm a bit of a hippy at heart - i LOVE bright colours, trippy art, nature, dying my hair pink and yes i'm a vegetarian.

- I lost my wonderful mother when I was 26, definitely the toughest thing I've ever had to go through but it has shown me more than ever life is very short and fragile.

- I like to draw - mainly (yep you guessed it) bright colours and hippy art :) you can check them out if you like.

- I love anything science fiction - and science fact

- I decided a long time ago I never wanted children, to get married or own a mortgage.

- I'm at my happiest when i'm exploring new places
