Vicky Hayden
Writer and Mother in Plymouth, United Kingdom
Vicky is the Owner and Editor of the Plymouth Mum blog. She writes about reverse culture shock as she learns to love life back in Devon after more than 15 years absence, most notably six years working, traveling and raising a family in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Basically, she’s swapped her teh tariks and nasi lemaks for pasties and cream teas and is not entirely convinced that was a good move…yet.
As she explores Plymouth she will be writing about what the City has to offer a family of four, from toddler groups to kid-friendly restaurants, soft play to playgrounds, theatres to festivals and everything in between.
As a lover of food (who isn’t) together with the daily necessity of cooking meals that pass the taste test of two fussy eaters, there will be plenty of tried and tested kid-friendly recipes.
Because Vicky is hoping to return to work in the PR and marketing industry this blog serves as a means of updating her digital and social media skills, learning on the job as it were, so please be patient. Now, where to begin?
