Vicky Jacobs has developed a reputation for her ability to get anyone singing at their best - from Australia's top music theatre stars to the most nervous new singers.

In 2021, Vicky was Assistant Musical Director on “Moulin Rouge’, having also filled this role on 'Come From Away', 'Beautiful: the Carole King Musical', ‘Jersey Boys’, ‘Xanadu’ and ‘Singin' in the Rain'. She has played for rehearsals and in the orchestras of some of the biggest shows to have graced the Australian stage in recent years including 'Wicked', 'Les Miserables', ‘Strictly Ballroom' and Hugh Jackman's 'Broadway to Oz’.

In 2022, Vicky is thrilled to be working for the Melbourne Theatre Company as Musical Director on ‘The Heartbreak Choir’. She is also looking forward to heading to Hobart for Festival of Voices where she is hosting the Big Sing Bonfire - it's not every day you get to direct a choir of 3000 people!

Most of all, Vicky loves to get people singing. Vicky is the founder and director of Glee Club, Melbourne's original singalong choir. Glee Club hosts regular singalong events around Victoria and Tasmania and also runs more choir-y choirs: Glee Plus and Glee West. And now there's even a Glee Club for Kids which gets together every Tuesday afternoon in Yarraville.

Vicky writes and arranges choral music which you can find at www.sheetmusicplus.com and The Australian Music Vault Choir Project.

Vicky is proud to be part of the team that developed the Number 1 Vocal Warm Up app for smartphone, Warm Me Up which you can download on iPhone or Android.
