Over the course of her career, Vicky Travlos has deepened and applied her strong communication skills and developed a keen business acumen. She entered the professional world having completed her bachelor's degree in political science, during which time she began a legislative aid internship in the New York State Legislature. After completing her internship, Vicky Travlos accepted a public affairs position in which she represented state Assemblyman Marc Herbst.

Vicky Travlos transitioned into the private sector in the spring of 1999. As an administrative assistant with Calvin Klein in New York City, she performed a variety of human resources functions while resolving customer service issues and supporting operations. She left Calvin Klein in 2000 to accept an advertising sales position with McGraw-Hill’s BusinessWeek Magazine.

Effective in pursuing leads and promoting products through direct mail strategies, Vicky Travlos soon advanced to the roles of television operations manager and sales development associate. She leveraged her marketing expertise to place company products in markets nationwide, while also playing a key collaborative role in the implementation of a broadly-based rebranding campaign. She most recently led as customer solutions and merchandising associate, where she created specific marketing solutions to increase the returns from various accounts.
