I am an odd combination of a shy, introverted, geeky, accounting major-turned tech/social entrepreneur, who'd also contemplated becoming a social worker to work with orphans. Through the twist & turns of self-discovery -- and finding myself to be the black sheep of almost everything -- I slowly learned to be proud of my quirks, and less self-conscious of my shortcomings. (Although having so many shortcomings is probably what made entrepreneurship resonate so much with me, as you learn to make the most of limited resources.)

Though I don't often wear my heart on my sleeve, I am starting to share bits and pieces...as I realize that seeing someone reach their goals and achieve their dreams, despite imperfections, can sometimes be inspirational.

I am a mom (and Little League coach) of 2 young kids, a long-time volunteer at my church's 3-7 year old program, a die-hard Red Sox fan, and an avid dancer (having used dance as a way to recuperate from various health issues). I believe that passion and genuine interest is the key to sustainability...whether it's about a business venture or about healthy lifestyle choices.
