Breaking boundaries and stereotypes of race and cultures and proud of that.
I am a first generation immigrant in Pakistan. My parents came here during the 80s, when stuff here was cool; not saying that it isn't cool now. I work mostly as a theatre professional, but anything that is related to storytelling is what pulls me in, so that's why I've also worked as a filmmaker, a documentary maker and a writer/poet. I have even dabbled in photography and dance in order to experience as much of storytelling mediums as possible.
Now I am part of OLOMOPOLO Media, and I'm one of the co-founders of this cultural organization that does design and execution of performing arts and visual media performances. I have found music to be another form of storytelling which just excites me so much!
Yeah, that's me. All about THE story.
