Vic Neufeld

Victor Neufeld, known as Vic, is a businessperson who has been at the head of 7 different companies and has brought significant entrepreneurial and business acumen to the natural alternative health care industry. Vic's experience, vision and commitment to quality healthcare alternatives translated to his taking leadership roles and shaping the medical marijuana industry over the past five years.

For 21 years Vic served as President and CEO at Jamieson Wellness, Canada's largest manufacturer and distributor of natural vitamins, minerals, concentrated food supplements, herbs and botanical medicines. He helped expand Jamieson into a leader in natural health supplements, with products such as ginseng, omega-3 and echinacea.

When Vic began his career with Jamieson, the top five leading nutrition brands each had 7% market share respectively. Under Vic's leadership, Jamieson outpaced the competition and increased its market share to 27%. During his tenure with Jamieson, Vic led the company from $20 million in annual sales to over $250 million and expanded the company's distribution network to more than 40 countries, building Jamieson to a globally recognized brand name.

Prior to joining Jamieson Wellness, Vic worked for 15 years as a chartered accountant and partner with Ernst & Young.

Vic attributes his business success to the work ethic he acquired when he and his three brothers worked long hours on the family farm with their hardworking father. Vic’s father came to Canada from Germany after World War II, penniless and eager to start a new life. After sharecropping for a number of years he saved enough money to buy the farm that still exists on the first concession in Mersea Township.

Vic earned his bachelor’s degree at The University Of Western Ontario, his MBA at the University of Windsor and an Honors Degree at the University of Windsor.
