children are grown and off--have been a single mother for 13 years, so now i am discovering life for myself. went from mother's house (university settings) to husbands and children...this is the first time i have been on my own. i find it both frightening and exhilarating...am currently in africa (live in Valdez, Alaska) I am a writer--wear all hats--poetry, short stories, journalism, technical writer of grants, editor of creative writing and journalism, researcher, teacher --love reading, bird watching, people watching, hiking, mountains and the sea....desirous of meeting people worldwide..(except scammers...i have met my life quotient of scammers already!)
