Vic Tipnes
A prominent business professional in the Tampa, Florida region, Vic Tipnes previously received recognition in the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the top 30 professionals under the age of 30 in the Tampa Bay Area. In 2004, MarCap Corporation honored Vic Tipnes by selecting him as part of a national case study. Most recently, in 2007, Vic Tipnes achieved recognition from Tampa Bay Illustrated as a “Perfect 10” charitable executive in the Tampa Bay Area.
Vic Tipnes began his professional career in the hospitality industry by assisting his father in the management of several family-owned and operated hotels. Acquiring a talent for sales, Vic Tipnes notably increased revenues for the family business. Subsequently transitioning into the health care industry, Vic Tipnes opened Quorsai Diagnostic Institute in 2001. He applied the principles he had learned in the hospitality industry in order to provide his patients with superior care. By 2006, Quorsai Diagnostic Institute had developed into a highly lucrative business, which Vic Tipnes sold to Evercore Partners, a New York-based equity group. Vic Tipnes currently remains active as the Vice President of Operations for Signet Diagnostic Imaging Services, the operating partner of Evercore. Besides pursuing his professional interests, Vic Tipnes enjoys spending his free time playing soccer and tennis, working out, and reading. He lists Napoleon Hill and Malcolm Gladwell as his favorite authors. Vic Tipnes particularly finds inspiration in Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich.
